Not that anyone cares

there will be a few ceremonies before the game. 1 for Kirby and the other for the late Tom Cheeks who died this off-season due to I think it was something to do with the brain, anyways his wife or widow ( I think widow is the correct term, correct me if I'm wrong) will be throwing the first pitch. For those who don't know Cheeks was most famous for saying "touch em all Joe" or something along those lines. Does anyone remember him or that saying that he had

Jays start out with of course Doc Halladay on the mound against Johan Santana. I'm expecting a Toronto win, 3-1 or maybe 2-1 with Wells and Glaus both going deep and Overbay with a double.

A.J Burnett's status is that he may come back early, from what I have heard he has thrown without pain for a while now. I still believe we are going to take the extra cautious road and maybe have him miss 2 starts. If you have been living under a rock, he suffered a minor injury with his arm, Scar tissue breaking off to be exact. I've heard it's very common among people who have had Tommy John Surgery.

Maine got a few Q's for you, did you know who tom cheeks was, and are pitchers stronger if scar tissue breaks off, i'm only asking you this because i've heard from people that scar tissue breaking off makes the arm stronger

Tom Cheeks was the long time broadcaster for the Jays.  At one point he had called something like 4,500 games in a row.  It was nice to see Tommy honored.

I don't think anything makes you come back from injury STRONGER, but scar tissue shouldn't affect AJ all that much.  The fact that it's scar tissue, and not a new injury, is encouraging.  If I were the Jays I'd let him take baby steps, you don't win the title in April.  You know?  AJ should be fine.
