Sunkstroke - was Stoudamire rushed back too soon?  Should he had sat out for the entire season?

Yes...and yes.

Both of those questions out of the way...Phoenix will STILL get to the western conf finals. This team has played well all season without Amare...now we just need to make a playoff run without him. Can't do anything about injuries except suck it up and try to get it done without him.

That's like saying the Phins will go 0-16 if they play Cleveland 16 times this year...  Roll Eyes

They are saying that it is his other knee now, no the one he had the original surgery on. That sucks I was getting excited to have him back for the playoffs!!!!!

I was too...really excited.  That said, I realize that he IS the future of Phoenix hoops, so whatever time he needs to get back to the explosive slam-monster he was last year...I hope he shuts it down until then.

Very true, I hope he comes in next season fully healed and ready to make a run at a championship. I love watching that kid play!!!!!

Maybe because he's hurt, he'll be on the trading block and the Knicks can get him.

Besides...Isaiah Thomas will only overpay for the old and injured guys with little skill. Amare is much too young and talented to appeal to the Knicks right now.   Wink

Let's not forget that Quentin Richardson WAS a good player last year and Isiah traded Kurt Thomas and probably a #1 pick for him. If we trade for Stoudamire, it is obvious his knees are destroyed.

I'll tell you who needs to go on the Knicks:

Stephon Marbury
Eddy Curry
Nate Robinson
Steve Francis (possibly)

Those guys are showboaters who don't want to listen.

Curry isn't a showboater, he is just a giant Twinkie who can't play defense. This was obvious even when he played in Chicago, but Isiah is a retard.

I like Nate and I don't think he should be the starting PG, he can provide a lot of energy off the bench. He has a lot of skills. Francis can go too because whatever team he has played on, they have gotten worse.
