Spider...what kind of car was it? I bet american.
It's a 2000 Dodge Avenger (the same model Brian has).  It's technically an American car, but in the same sense that a Eagle Talon is "American" and a Mitsubishi Eclipse is "Japanese"... all three cars were made from the same plant in Normal, IL, using both Japanese and American components.  My "American" car has a Japanese (Mitsubishi) engine, and there are "Japanese" Eclipses with American (Chrysler) engines.

So long story short, I prefer to think of my car as a hybrid.

(I believe the above paragraph answers Brian's question as well.)

I'm glad to hear you still have the Venge.  You still working on it?  Or have you got lazy like I have?

You're a stud Lil B.

Don't stop here.

Go to godaddy.com.  Purchase the domain "Cottmans.com", or if that's unavailable purchase "ithinkcottmanstriedtoscrewme. com", and post your story.

A quick update,I just got back from picking my truck up from the Transmisson shop.I went with a local guy (I do believe,I don't think Beetles is a transmissonshop franchise).Well...$436.47 That's rebuilt, with new torque converter, new lines, seals, fluid with tax, title, license, enviromental fees, service fees, and all that stuff...(you know all the fine print added on to the cost).

It still shifts sort of hard,But 1000% better....So my buddy told me we'll throw a new rear end in it tommorrow.....eliminate that possibility.
