OK people, it's getting old.

Today, Neil Young "called" for the president's impeachment.

1. Who the hell is Neil Young to "call" anything?
2. Who cares already?

Bush is an idiot.  Everyone hates him.  But guess what we're all stuck with him, so there's nothing you can do about it other then vote in 2008.  It's just getting old hearing the same crap over and over and over again from artists and celebrities getting their "cheap pops" for saying bush sucks (because when you come on a TV show or radio announcement and you say anything anti-bush, the crowd explodes into a roar and you're automatically loved by everyone)

By the way I voted for Kerry, just in case you wanna start bashing me for this.

I voted for President Bush as well, and I do not hate him, and it wasn't a lesser of 2 evils vote. President Bush has done things that have pissed me off bigtime, but even if he was eligible for another term in 2008, I'd still vote for Bush again over ANY Democrat...

Well, there is ONE Democrat I could vote for. Tennessee's governor, Phil Bredesen. And I'd only vote for him if John McCain or Jeb Bush was running for president.

Sorry to hijack, but you will vote for the Republican candidate even if you don't think they are the better candidate?  I don't particularly understand party voting.  Can you enlighten me?  Are there certain issues that all Democrats support that you are that strongly against?

As for me, I don't care what a 70s Canadian rocker thinks about the United States president.  He is entitled to his opinion, but seriously it isn't his problem.  I care much more about the insanely low approval rating the president currently has.  I believe the government should somewhat represent the views of the people, and a low approval rating to me indicates they are not.

Who is the 70's Canadian rocker???

I vote based on what is best for the country. I do not support re distribution of wealth, a soft policy on terrorists, letting Europe dictate OUR policy, welcoming illegal aliens, heavy taxing of the countries most productive people, the declaration of war on Christianity yet being "tolerant" to athiesm and every other religion. etc.

These outrages and many more are Democrat policy, and why I will not vote for a Democrat.

I'd rather not vote Republican in 2008, but if I vote Libertarian, it will more or less be a vote for the Dems nominee.

Are you serious? Its more the opposite. Crazy, fundamenatlist Christians are trying to impose their beliefs anywhere and on anyone they can. They have never been able to cope with the fundamental principal of seperation of church and state and fight it with tooth and nail in the public realm. I guess as a by-product of their crusade, they have adopted a view that they are the innocent ones, that they are ones being "pushed back". I guess it helps with the justification of their cause and eases their conscience. Anyway, I wish people would just practice what they preach. Obey the laws, be tolerant and love ( respect) thy neighbor...even if your neighbor is queer and prays to Allah.  To each their own.

I want to apologize for opening this can of worms before/if this gets out of hand.  I just wanted to ask for Frimp's feelings on this, not to question them.  I firmly believe everyone is entitled to their opinions.  Even though I may not agree with them, it is not my job to enforce my feelings on them either.

And, I answered. I won't keep on, and I'll address Househead in a private message...unless someone wants to start a new topic on the subject. I won't do it because I realize that I'm one in about 3 conservatives here, and though I love the debate, I know that I'm not going to change anyone's mind.

Anyways...can the Bush bashing just to be liked by the crowd (e.g. every guest on Bill Maher and every time Michael Moorer opens his fat mouth) just stop already?

It makes Barry Bonds look like Pope John Paul...but then again, he probably does with some of the shit that's happened.

Sadly, the crowd approval validates them.  They NEED it.  Plus, it's harder to get work if your opinions don't fit the Hollywood norm.

Did the ultimate Master Basher, Joe Tex, really just start a thread to complain about other people bashing arguably the most bashable public figure of our generation?

Say it ain't so, Joe...
