Went to 4 Panthers games this past season,  watched a few on TV during weekends cuz that's when I didn't work.  Hockey rox,  argument ends there.

Ottawa takes it all this season.

As much as I wanted to watch this year, it was impossible for me to watch more than about 3 Flyers games all year. I have Direct TV (for the NFL Sunday Ticket), and since the Flyers are owned by Comcast Cable, they play on Comcast Sportsnet channel. Comcast does not sell this channel to Direct TV, so fans like me get screwed, unless I want to pay an additional $60 a month for cable (which I don't), or unless I want to go out to bars to watch the games (which I don't). The only games I got to watch were the select few that were broadcast on OLN this year, up until the playoffs.

Agreed there.  Additionally, hockey is more fun to watch in person than on TV.  Did you manage to catch any games at the Wachovia Center?

I haven't watched nearly as much hockey this season as I used to.   I only went to one game this season, towards the end of the season, and enjoyed it very much.

I've been watching some playoff hockey on TV now, and I'm enjoying that alot more than playoff basketball...

I followed the standings and watched a little bit of a number of games. I have gotten into playing in a pool league and have tried to practice quite a bt in the evenings so I would have it on, but not really pay attention.

I'm a Blues fan, so there was nothing for me to come back to.

I always loved hockey, even with the Rangers in such sorry shape for almost a decade. I feel the NHL playoffs are the best playoffs of the 4 major sports. Most football games don't have enough drama. The NBA disgusts me with all that pussy foul calling and MLB can get boring at times.

Truth is, almost every series I've seen of hockey has been great except the Devils/Rangers one this year, and that's becaus einjuries made the Rangers play like an AHL team.

I've always said that the best thing in sports is overtime playoff hockey (because its sudden death). I remember watching the Flyers Penguins game years ago that went into 6 overtimes. It was like 4 in the morning when it ended.

I remember that too.  I think it was 1996.
