I don't know if it is true, but this is what I finally heard:

It was almost the end of the final round. One fighter ran to the corner to jump up and raise his hands in victory. However, little did he know that he was being followed as the final bell hadn't completely sounded. At the last second, I think he realized he was screwed. This idiotic move was taken advantage of, and he was left dangling out of the ring with his feet tangled in the ropes.
