Schilling & Beckett just pitched, right? We'll have a shot against Wakefield because we can steal a few bags and his catcher is just KILLING the team. If Clement goes as well....well, whoever knows what Matt Clement is going to do? Exdtremely talented guy who has 10 game streaks of a Cy Young pitcher and 10 game streaks of a Tampa Bay reject.

Should be interesting, but I think Boston takes both games. I don't trust Torre to manage the bullpen correctly. Wang should give up a few unearned too as he has been forsaken by his defense this year so far.

No, he brings in Tanyon Sturtze. Now, I won't say Torre cost the Yankees the game because they weren't winning and even if he did bring in Farnsworth, who's to say HE doesn't give up runs? The only thing I will say is that Torre put the Yankees in the worst situation to win that game. He has been doing all year and it's only May 1st. He is a stubborn ass who still thinks Tanyon can pitch like he did in 2004 and he can't. Get over it.

Oh, and Myers is an asshole. I am pretty sure his contract actually states "You are to get David Ortiz out, we don't care about anything else, just don't give up massive Homeruns to David Ortiz when there are 25 MPH winds blowing in from centerfield or we will withhold your paycheck". Bringing him in was the right move, even though it resulted in a disaster of shame.

Now it's up to Chacon to quiet down the media. Sweeps for either NY or Boston are never good for the media who declare the end of the world everytime it happens.
