After getting obliterated on Friday and knowing i would be on lock down for the entire day Saturday i was entertained all day because TNT showed the Rocky marathon. 1-4. What a treat. I watched every single one the entire way through. Let me tell you that even today every one of these 4 movies kept me interested for the entire way through. They are epic Rocky may be the greatest movie franchise ever.

What do you rank the top movie franchises of all time. (At least 3 movies) ***exceptions are Spider Man and X Men***

Rank for me your 1-5.

All right, I'll kick this off.  In order of how often I could sit and watch the entire trilogy:  (Rewatchability factor)

1 -  Star Wars, Episodes IV - VI:  How can it not be?  I could watch these every few months, I think.

2 -  Indiana Jones trilogy:  Just an awesome trilogy, really.  Twice a year.

3 -  Die Hard trilogy: Yippee Kay-eye never gets old.  I could do these every nine months to a year.

4 -  Rocky ( I through IV) : Rocky VI NEVER HAPPENED!!  Maybe once a year or anytime they play on TNT

5 -  Lord of the Rings trilogy:  This would be at # 1 or # 2 but for the fact that each movie runs  nearly 4 hours (extended DVD versions, which are superior).  Because it's such a time consuming endeavor, I'll say once every two years.

This is sooo true. I must admit that my witty joke totally bombed. I should have known it would when I IM'd the post to Dave and he just responded, "OK...."

Maybe it was late at night, or maybe my sense of humor can just be that flat, but I thought it was damn funny when I posted it and was looking forward to all the positive responses.

Booooo.

Feel free to delete this thread moderators... Chalk it up to crazy_scar_man retardedness.
