i know how much you love me asking you these questions. well you probably hates these but just feel like answering them out of feeling bad for me.

how about that Doc Halladay 2 CG's in a row. 89 pitches in his previous win against the mighty D-rays it was a wicked great game for doc- is it safe to say he has returned to Cy young form. only reason why i am asking you this is because a while back you said you love halladay when hes healthy, It was when we were debating whether he was injury prone or not.

Are there any trade talks coming out of toronto lately. i know i heard somewhere that J.P was actively trying to trade for a SP and SS. not sure if there is any truth to it but just felt like asking

Here is something that is very scary about Halladay - I still don't think he's 100% yet.  There is something I can't put on my finger about his delivery and velocity, something off.  I was talking to Jerry Remy about that a couple days ago and he agreed, so I know I'm not completely out of my mind.  I said "something scary" because I would put Doc at about 90% - and he's pitching out of his head.  If he pitches this well at 90%??  The league is in trouble.

I had heard that Toronto had been talking to LAA about Cabby at SS, which would be a MONSTER pick up if he could do it.  Pitching wise, every team is looking to pick up more SP - but the pickings are slim.  The Jays need to do something, however...Powers is a mess, even with his win yesterday.  Maybe Jeff Weaver or Derek Lowe?  Lowe would be a nice pick up.

Lowe would be an interesting pickup, but how does he fare on the turf? I know he is a groundball pitcher, so a lot of slow rollers become singles. Hence, a lot of groundballs become runs.

I would run away from Weaver as far as possible. Just more proof that he can't hack it in the AL without a monstrous ballpark like Detroit or in the NL with Dodger Stadium.

Cabby wouldn't be too expensive.  He's a slick glove with almost no bat.  His average is terrible, his OBP percentage is terrible and he isn't very patient at the plate.  He could come fairly cheap, maybe a RP and someone in single A.  But what Cabby would bring is solid defense up the middle, plus he has him moments with the stick.

As far as Lowe goes - he has a pretty decent track record in Toronto, but I would want him more for his road wins and big game experience.  Say what you will about the guy, when the pressure is on he brings it.  He pitches better away from home.  The Dodgers might not be willing to part with him, but I bet they would shop Penny.
