I wouldn't call it a bust. He's gonna learn that he can't sit out with those nagging injuries now or he will fall behind quickly.
He had a four-year scholarship at USC. This is a job now. It's day-to-day. He could lose his scholarship tomorrow.

Willie Parker, Tatum Bell, Reggie Bush. All the same player. Oh, he'll be better than all those guys, for sure. The thing that worries me about him is this: He's so great as a running back and receiver and returner, right? Do you risk putting this guy out there to return punts and kicks? Anyone remember what happened to Troy Vincent when Miami put him out there for a kickoff return? I think the Saints' plan to use him in every facet of the game opens him up to some vicious, nasty, season-ending type of hits on special teams.

I'd like to reiterate what I've been sayhing since last year:
Matt Leinart is a fraud.
That is all.
Sometimes it's the system, not the player. Leinart has all the right guys around him to do well.
