Can Tua deliver a final Christmas Miracle for the Dolphins?

Josh Allen is 40 yards away from breaking the Buffalo season yards record and then it is expected he will be pulled for Matt Barkley. If so, great news for us but we need to play to win no matter who is out there.

I’m not giving up on Tua after half a season in a weird year, but maybe it should have been Herbert.

I am frustrated with the way our offense looks.

There is lot of pressure, there is not really a running game opening things up, and our play calling is dump-offs.

There's no maybe about it. Clearly Tua benefitted immensely from having all those receiving weapons in Alabama and Herbert did not. Now that the roles are reversed, you see the difference.

By the statistics, you should go for on 4th and 1 from anywhere on the field.

Yeah I know. It’s just our luck that we had a high pick in a year were you couldn’t properly scout the players.

So what do we do? Can we trade Tua and take someone at 3 ( if we have it , or do we still try and develop him?

I'm playing a game where I take a sip of beer when we dump off.  I'm taking a shot when we do a RB draw.  I have died of alcohol poisoning halfway through the first quarter.

I know that I said I would be happy with this season if we lost today and missed the playoffs, but I didn't count on us having our worst game of the year and basically embarrassing ourselves with our season on the line. This is utterly ridiculous that no one came to play. If Fitz didn't have Covid, I would 100% support Tua being benched right now.

I'm sure cooler heads will prevail once time has passed, but if we end up with the #3 pick, you will see a lot of discussion about drafting another QB coming. I wouldn't support that but it's hard to argue that he isn't the worst QB drafted in 2020 that actually saw the field and seemingly got worse as the season went on.

Our only hope now is Buffalo truly rests all their starters in the 2nd half and Flores rips into the whole team for their effort.

I tried to tell you. We are not in the same zip code as the Bills and should not be in the playoffs this year. Maybe next year.

Our O-line is giving no protection and our receivers can't catch balls that hit their hands.

We are seriously outclassed.

I agree that the Bills are much better but 10-6 is usually good enough for the playoffs. Next year should elevate us once we draft a top tier WR who can actually catch the ball.

And Tua looks lost.

Rookie O-Line did solid this year but they need more time. With 2 first and second rounders, WR and O-Line will be addressed early.

Tua is lost though and it worries me a bit due to his lack of growth as the season went on. Everyone learns at their own speed and maybe this whole season should've been a red shirt. What's done is done, start fresh in 2021 and hope for the best.

A very disappointing ending to the season for Miami

Who is our backup QB? It really might be time to pull Tua and hammer home the point he won't be handed the starting job next year if he doesn't improve drastically. This game is over, doesn't matter what the backup will do.

This is embarrassing. Dolphins are not ready yet. Would not want to see this happen to them in the playoffs.

I don't want to write off the whole season because we did win 10 games. We are a good team but not a contender. Rooting hard for the Titans at 4 so that we get the 3rd or 4th pick. This team desperately needs it to address the WR or O-Line.

Oh no don’t misunderstand me. I’m not writing off the season. It was the best dolphins season for some time now. They’ve definitely taken some good steps in the right direction. This team shows a lot of promise. I’m happy with what they’ve done this year. They’ve just not ready for prime time yet is all I’m saying.

I would rather be the Jets or the Jaguars than us right now

Just for today or the future? Because the Jets won't be a contender for a very long time and probably not the Jags either.

Tua red zone interception pretty much ends any chance of a comeback. Very disappointing day.

Anyone wishing for the Colts to lose should rethink because if that happens Miami will playing in Buffalo again next week. I can't take 2 blowout losses to end the season.

I think it has to be considered. He was pretty much awful from Denver on. Unfortunately this seems like a weak class outside of Lawrence.

I wouldn't draft a QB, but it is not wrong to ask questions. First thing I would do is make sure Fitz comes back for us next season. I have patience for rookie QBs but that ends in Season 2. He will be given the tools to succeed and the expectation will be 11-12 wins.

Instead of holding a clipboard he played the year. Hopefully, that is more valuable to him and he shows us why he was so sought after in 2021. Remember, shortened offseason, no preseason, a lot of things going against him.
