Lehan and Holliday are practicing; Murphy isn’t

By Ben Volin | Monday, August 18, 2008, 02:39 PM

No more live blogging or full practice reports, now that practices are officially closed to the media and public (but we still get to watch the first 30 minutes and take attendance).

A few injury notes from Monday’s practice, which was held in the bubble because of rain:

CB Michael Lehan is practicing for the first time. He had a nasty ankle injury during OTAs, and missed the first three weeks of training camp. But now he’s back, and competing with Andre Goodman for a starting spot.

Ronnie Brown is wearing a hard cast on his right hand/arm. He’s not participating in practice, but he has his helmet on, and he’s doing speed and conditioning drills with a coach in the far end zone.

Tony Sparano didn’t say anything about rookie G Shawn Murphy this morning, but Murphy isn’t practicing today. He rolled his ankle last week and sat out of Saturday’s game.

Vonnie Holliday (hamstring) is back at practice. Charlie Anderson (hamstring) is not, and is joining Murphy on the exercise bikes.
