The new coach has decided to open up the passing game, so Sean Smith and Vontae Davis will be tested.

Dolphins win easily but it's not a blowout.

I have a bad feeling about this game. All the matchups look good (okay, so TO is never a good matchup, but with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball...), but something just feels bad about the game.

Insightful analysis, I know Wink

I agree with you here.  I just don't like it.  I am worried that TO is heating up and that new coach of theirs wants to get him the ball, and Vontae isn't ready to cover TO.

With TO being the taller guy, I'd rather put Sean Smith on him and Vontae Davis on Lee Evans.

I understand why you'd go that direction, Tommy, but I actually think Vontae would be the better way to go against T.O.  If you want Owens to have a bad game, the recipe is simple...you jam him hard at the line and you play rough and physical with him every time the ball is snapped. He gets out of his head and stops thinking about catching the ball.

I think Vontae is better equipped for that...but I'd definitely recommend safety help over the top.

You should have been coaching because Davis had NO safety help over the top. I guess they thought that T.O. was REALLY washed up.
