Cam Newton's dad asks for 180k for his son to play and they say he knew nothing about it and no penalties.
Ohio State players trade autographs for tattoos and they get suspended almost half a season.

If you put an "=" between the two words in the thread title and remove the question marks from the end, it would be as accurate a statement as one could make about the NCAA.

Ohio State isn't in the SEC and is not playing for the BCS National Championship.

The NCAA is rigged.  Every year.  Terrible.  They were sweating in their panties when Boise State and TCU were climbing to the top of the polls.  They couldn't WAIT to put Boise State in the Maaco Insignificant bowl.  Such a sham.

I don't think that Cam Newton is a good comparison to these other guys.

While the Tattoo guys actually got caught doing something against the rules, Cam Newton didn't.  There is no proof that he knew and no evidence that any money changed hands, either.  Cam's infraction (if he was indeed involved) is far, far worse.  But you can't just suspect that he's guilty.
