http://starwars.com/news/star-wars-episode-7-cast-announced.html

Highlights: The main cast is back, with some new young actors you might recognize as well as a few veterans you won't know by name, but when you see them, you'll say "Oh...that guy".  And Serkis, the guy who plays Gollum.

I kept waiting for the "Oh, that guy moment but I never had one."

Regardless, I am excited about the new trilogy.

^ I thought everyone would recognize Max von Sydow once they saw him.  He's been in like 1000 movies over 60 years.

John Boyega is in a really good alien movie called Attack the Block.  I recommend everyone check it out.

Yea, but I already knew him and didn't need a picture. I cannot count how many times we watched Strange Brew while in college.

Max von Sydow will always be Ming from Flash Gordon to me!!  I had no idea he was still around.

Thank you... To me, Max von Sydow will always either be Ming the Merciless from Flash, or Leland Gaunt from Needful Things.

I still haven't seen the other Star Wars Episode stuff. Why should I care about this?

Star Wars is the single most important pop-cultural event/phenomenon of your lifetime.  That's why.

Kardashians.

I like Star Trek as much as the next guy, but the Kardashians weren't any more important than the Romulans, and nowhere near as relevant as the Klingons...

I have, indeed, been keeping up with the Cardassians... Wink
