We got two 2nd rounders and a 3rd rounder. Saints are looking to move up to an early 2nd round pick and we got the 7th one. They got nothing we want this season but they might be willing to part with their 2021 1st rounder since this is Brees last year and they are going for it now.

If we keep the picks, we should grab the best player available at 37 who isn't a RB and then a RB with our second pick. I would prefer Jones or Ezra at OT if either are still around when we pick. Finalize the entire line right now and give them a whole year to gel and see if they need to be replaced. Gives Tua the best chance at success in 2021. Let's not repeat the mistakes we made with Tannehill.

Giants got McKinney so we selected RT Robert Hunt from Louisiana. We announced him as a Tackle but he is said to be one of the best Guards in the draft, so we have options.

I have absolutely no idea why Ezra Cleveland is still around but we addressed our biggest needs with 3 of the first 4 picks and our last 1st rounder is a great player if a luxury right now, so for that it looks like we are doing an excellent job so far.

A.J. Epenesa is still on the board, now would be a good time to try and trade up. The kid has 1st round talent, it's just a loaded draft and he is falling. I don't want to take a Tight End just because that is the best player on the board at the moment. We're not starting 14 rookies with our 14 picks, we should use some for capital right now.

AJ, Josh Jones, JK Dobbins, and Ezra Cleveland.

Dang ... I was hoping we could pull Cam Akers

2 picks left ahead of us, we will have our choice at RB or Cleveland or AJ. Ezra might be a luxury right now as much as a tackle can be because we just drafted two of them so I kind of think we are going RB or the best DE available.

The fucking Bills just took A.J. They didn't even need him, they're just adding to their defense now. Going to be scary against them even if I have no confidence in Josh Allen.

Ezra is still available somehow, maybe we draft him to play RT and shoot the guy we just drafted into Guard where he projects higher. Certainly wouldn't accuse us of not protecting Tua if we did that. Shit, Fitzpatrick did an amazing job last year considering he ran for his life on every play. Maybe he can lead us to 10 wins with this O-Line.

Think we go DE or DT though.

We did go DT and drafted Raekwon Davis from Alabama.

Very physically gifted kid with good skills but supposedly has problems with his maturity. Reminds me of Jordan Phillips in that regard and that certainly didn't pan out. Hope that Grier straightens him out, would be surprising if he picked him here and just hoped that he could fix him.

If he matures, this is a very good pick for us.

I'm glad we are saving all those late round picks instead of using them for top talent. There were better DTs on the board. Not so sure about that pick

The maturity is the issue for Raekwon as it led to him underperforming on the field. If he gets his shit together, he will be very good in the trenches. I agree though that we really should've tried to trade up for better talent. Better use of a 4th rounder is to use it to move up in the 2nd round.

From Lance Zierlein at http://NFL.com on Raekwon Davis: "He was all over the backfield in 2017, but hasn't made nearly as many plays -- against the run or pass -- since then."

Yeah, the report is that he killed it in 2017 but maturity issues made him fall back the following 2 seasons. Just a guess, but maybe being away from home on his own and treated like a God by the students had some affect on him. Seems like he has a good ceiling but he can be a total bust as well. I would've preferred we didn't hoard all of our picks and moved up.

I mean, are we seriously going to draft 14 players? Once it gets to the 7th round, who even gives a shit? No point in trading up then.
