Not to mention that UDFA's who stick have a much bigger advantage than players drafted late. Once they reach their third year, they are free agents and can command that second contract that all NFL players fight to get because that's where the money is.
I just think after the first round Grier sold out the whole draft trading up to get our OG in the second round... and winged it for the rest of the draft. Which maybe is not a good thing.
After Jordan Phillips, I see a gigantic pile of practice squad (at best) players that have accumulated like a gigantic shit emoji. Maybe the possible exception of Ollie Gordon II, and that would be because our previous pickup of Alexander Mattison was a total and utter dud (with a guaranteed contract which Grier signed, sealed and delivered before the draft began).
