- You like the taste of Schlitz or Olde English and prefer the 40 oz bottles

- Your couches are covered with plastic sheeting

- The back top of your toilet is missing, and you still know how to flush it

- "Turning up the heat" means turning up another burner on the stove

- You use powdered Kool-Aid mix as food coloring

- Having a conversation means yelling from your window to someone three floors down

- The sound of a gunshot or police siren doesn't bother you at all

- Pizza and Chinese food places won't deliver to your area

- Your rims cost more than your car

- you run to get pots as soon as it rains.

- you pay more for your child's sneakers than you do their childcare.

- the rear window of your car is filled with stuffed animals.

- you wear flip-flops outside the house
