They whooped our asses, got trounced by the Jets, and are whooping the Bills asses. (Thanks for knocking them off, Cards)

So, are they for real?

Discuss.

I'm still not a believer, but then again, I never will be.

The Cardinals seem to chronically underperform the talent they have. I really don't know why that is...

Anyway, with Warner at quarterback, you just have to hit him and the ball comes lose...

On the other hand, I have a friend who's a Cardinals fan and he swears that Warner is holding the ball differently this year - protecting it much better.

If, and that's a huge if, Warner can put the fumbling issues behind him (and last weak it certainly didn't look like it), he could move from "one of the best when untouched" to a true top quarterback.

The rest of the offense looks like it has the talent, except possibly at running back. Edge is old and I'm not convinced Hightower has what it takes.

On defense their secondary seems suspect.

Their actually quite lucky in that they have only the 49ers to contend with in the NFC West, unless the Seahawks suddenly get healthy (and good). It's unlikely that the division will get one of the NFC Wild Cards, so it's pretty much just a question of whether they can beat the 49ers. They already did once, so, yeah, I think they are for real, in the sense that they can win the division and make the playoffs.

I also think they'll get booted out of the Wild Card round by an NFC East team - probably the Redskins, whom they've already lost to once.

America's team

The Cardinals remind me of the Bengals a few years ago. They can beat anyone on any given week, but you don't know which team you are going to get week to week. I really like to watch them, they are exciting and fun.

Home, away, home.  Looks like they are a team that doesn't travel well.

They looked for real yesterday against Dallas, even though their coaches tried every way possible to lose the game,Their defense looked great against a pretty decent Cowboys team(I still think Romo is only an average back up QB at best)

YES!!! The Cards are finally living up to their potential of course playing in that weak conference helps but theyve taken down 2 legit teams in the Bills & Cowgirls so far so that should eliminate doubts. I think the Jets game was a mulligan. Their D is opportunistic, but gives up way too much yards, so theyre not in the top 5 yet, but it is now safe to include AZ in playoff talk without a punchline. AZ Fins Fan must be stoked - Ive always liked the Cards man Id love to see them make it

The cards are for real at HOME. Until they win a meaningful road game they can't be labeled as contenders. They outplayed dallas yesterday, but i need to see something from them on the road.

That was a good game.....the refs.....not so much. There were so many terrible calls in that game both ways and general confusion among the refs. Great game to be at and it is always good to beat a rival. I was sad to see how many Cards fans sold their tickets to Dallas fans however....that was the first game I have been to in the new stadium where the Cards fans were out numbered and we have sold out every game. As loud and obnoxious as the Dallas fans were going in.....you could hear crickets leaving the place.

I could not agree more....they should have beat the Jets and the Skins on the road. Even splitting those games would have been acceptable. The real difference between this Cards team and the teams of old was that they did not fold like a cheap tent in the OT. Past Cardinals teams would have let Dallas march up the field in 3 plays and score after all the controversy. Not the case yesterday.....they are definitely heading in the right direction and I really respect ken Wisenhunt.
