I think that the girls, overall, were better.

I like the two hippy-ish chicks, Crystal and the one with the white/blue hair.

Again, though, I found Simon to be way off in praising the girl who sang "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed.  I thought that the arrangement was okay, but her voice was totally flat.

I also hate Kara.  A lot.  Everything about her annoys me.  I find her totally fake and it sounds like she's acting (poorly) every time she speaks.  She reminds me of the female TV exec from the Simpsons that says stuff like "biz-zay", instead of "busy".

I find that the "talent" pool in American Idol is shrinking quickly.  The judges keep talking about how much talent they have found this year.  I'm not buying it.  I don't think they have truly found anyone of note since Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry. 

Adam Lambert couldn't hold Daughtry's jock.  He really couldn't.  And he's the closest thing since.  Kris Allen?  He's okay.  Nothing to write home about.  Cook?  Again...okay.  My humble opinion. 

I also hate Kara. 

Yes, but she's really hot.  I don't mind looking at her at all.  Oink.

I also don't find Kara hot...maybe that's the problem.  I think she's rather opossum-ish.  Rat-faced.

I can not stand Kara.....I end up muting or fast forwarding everything she says becuase I will end up talking shit at the TV about her and it drives my wife nuts lol!!!!!

I think they kicked off all the right people, but making them sing right after they get booted is really a dick move.  Watching that girl struggle through her last song was painful.

That is the key to the shows success. People dig seeing the Humiliation of the first shows and all the trainwrecks. They wait for Simon to Trash people. I give the contestants all the credit in the world for dealing in such a stressful environment.

I couldn't believe the Miami chick got bounced so quickly. She needed no work, no image , nothing. Naturally beautiful. Just hand her a polished song and stand back. Not my Cup of tea but its the type of chick they usually love.  The winner will be a female for sure this year.
