I have no problem with the passengers in the car being drunk.  They were not driving.  They are young guys.  Young guys tend to go out and get drunk every now and then.

Top 2 WR's out for the Jets this week. If we don't win this game something is seriously wrong.

That seems to be a lot of Jets spin.

The Charity event was from 6pm to 9 pm.  They were pulled over at 5 am.  They did some partying after the charity event.

Perhaps they were getting wasted for charity.  Like for every shot they do, a $100 pledge goes towards whatever charity they were supporting.  Maybe they weren't being irresponsible...maybe they were drinking for the less fortunate. Grin

I can think of worse reasons to party.  I'll think about them tonight while I drink safely in my home.

You are a little quick on that one. Edwards is playing.

I will never understand celebrities and athletes getting DUI and DWI. You have more money than you know what to do with, call a taxi, limo, car service anything... it's not like you can't afford it

This does count for regular folk, but for the rich, it makes even less sense to me

In the case of Edwards, it would actually have been completely free. The Jets are part of the Player Protect program, which provides (luxury) transport and security for players -- with the Jets picking up the bill.

According to what i have read on a Jet forum, there is only one reason to be where he was arrested at 5 am --hiring a hooker.  Maybe the Jets charphoring and car service doesn't include transport to illicit activities.

Shoot...he's got enough money, they'll delivery the hoochie-mamas right to his door.
