"Rapper MCA" is gone. Very sad, age 47.

Sucks to see people from my generation dying left and right. I've got a good friend at work who might just have beat cancer after this last bone marrow transplant. Cancer sucks!!

Thanks for the good times MCA!! RIP!!

This gave me a huge sad. I LOVED the Beastie Boys.

One of the best concerts I went to:  Beastie Boys with the Roots. Yes. It was as amazing as it sounds.

I owe alot to MCA and the beastie boys.  I actually got my first blow job at some party when i was 16 and i remember hearing "brass monkey" in the background.  Seriously though, these guys are true pioneers in the hip-hop community and their music will live on forever.  You will be missed MCA!

I've seen a lot of musicians come and go, but MCA was the first death that affected me.  RIP MCA

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching Fight for Your Right (revisited) in tribute:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evA-R9OS-Vo

It's 30 minutes long, but very entertaining.
