Little more than 15 min, but yeah. The Fins front 7 on defense is very strong. Oddrick is a DT playing DE, few teams will push Miami around this year. Oliveria Vernon was also just throwing guys around last week. Might not show up in the stat sheet but when I watched the game the 2nd time he was a rookie playing like a big boy. Koa Misi with 11 tackles (10 solo) played well also.

Why is everyone giving Miami a free pass with the idea that Houston was a team they "never had a shot of beating" ?? You take away Tannehill's 3 INTs and the field position it gave the Texans, and the defense held Houston to a 10-9 Dolphins win. -EK

Absolutely. But making the excuse "they shoulda lost anyway" is just as much a cop out as any "what if's." Why bother playing at all, then? Just so we all have something to debate on Monday? -EK

That is silly. Polian built super bowl teams in Buffalo and Indy. And the Indy team not long ago had a perfect season going into Week 16 before they decided to sit everyone. Not having a back-up QB in place was a mistake, but it was his only mistake let's not re-write history. If Peyton goes down today you think Denver is gonna be any good? Please! They will be just as bad as Indy.

Knocking Bill Polian and his resume is just downright laughable. It really is.

Can't find anything on the net, but I do remember that this was discussed in the media and on the boards. Ireland wanted McCoy and Ross wanted Philbin.

If you don't think surrounding cast has one thing to do with Matt Ryan's success, you're fooling yourself.  If Matt Ryan were a Dolphin, the fans would have burned his house down by now.

I agree to a degree but I still think he would have been better than Henne. Just my opinion.
