The Hercules teaser trailer has been released:

I'll be there because I watch all the movies the Rock does, even the Tooth Fairy one.

I have no interest in this.  ...not even enough to watch the trailer.  And I think Ratner is a douche.

I served the Rock ages ago. He's super nice and hot in real life. (Sseriously...he's ridiculously hot.)

I'll wait to see this OnDemand, though.

Yea, a guy from an industry known for using PEDs growing to an even more enourmous size did it from diet and training only (while in an industry where there is no concern about PEDs).

Not sure what that means. I benched 250 at 35 and 480 at 40 and the closest thing I took to a steroid was once or twice I was on Nasonex nose spray.

Neurological adaptation to strength demands is not the same as increased hypertrophy and reduced body fat. Gaining lean muscle mass after age 35 is pretty hard-especially how much he gained. Most powerlifters peak in their late 30s/early 40s.  Most bodybuilders peak in their early 30s. There's a huge difference. Someone who has nearly a 500 pound bench should know that. Did you compete? 420 at 140 pounds here. -EK

I didn't compete ... I just got into working out at 35 with a goal of getting as strong as possible by 40.  Kind of my "what could have been" thing for myself.  I have many good friends who work out and have since high school. Some of them compete in the police Olympics but nothing professional.  I got involved just to hang out and it kind of took off. I became a good friend's project. Not that it was all benching but my bench program revolved around the Muscle Media 2000 program. I swear by that for improving bench and rather qucikly. Well that and eating. There are lot's of guys who work out much harder than I but don't eat. As you know you can't build muscle without a lot protein and won't have energy without carbs.

That's a strong bench. Bet you'd clean up in some of the sub-master or master classes if you ever decided to give it a shot. I've ran that particular program as well. I liked it. If you're looking to progress beyond it or get bored with it, check out Westside Barbell's routine. Joe DeFranco has a couple of WSBB templates on his site I believe. -EK
