I went with Blade and Batman Returns.

I think Batman Returns had the title of "Best Comic Book Movie Ever" for a good while, especially since the Batman series fell off a cliff after this movie.  That earns a vote in my book.

As for Blade, it just so happened that I got my hands on a cable descrambler ("black box") right before this movie arrived on pay-per-view.  In my area, there were 3 pay-per-view channels: one with a rotation of new arrivals, one where they would play a new arrival back-to-back for an entire day, and a third ("BET Action") that focused on upcoming releases with black actors.  So there was a point where Blade was playing on all three pay-per-view channels at the same time... and there were several other days where Blade was on the back-to-back channel, and all I did was "watch" Blade all day long.  I think it's fair to say that I've seen Blade more than any other movie in existence.  And I still like it.

This was tough for me, but I picked Batman Returns and Blade.  Batman Returns is probably one of my favorite movies that I just don't think about until someone brings it up, I've seen it so many times.  Blade was one of the DVDs in rotation to watch for the 3 months I didn't have cable back in college, I've probably seen it a dozen times or more.

Mask of the Phantasm was such a good movie, I wish I could pick three.

This is a super weak field.  I went with Batman Returns and Blade, but only out of familiarity.

Super Weak
I abstain from voting in this one since I've not seen any of these movies.

Batman Returns is a particularly weird entry into Batman.  It gets a free-pass for some reason, but the characters are not really all that true to the source material, Batman is kinda sadistic and murders henchmen, the origin stories are weird.  It's more a Tim Burton film than a Batman film.

I saw Mask of the Phantasm years ago and remember it was competent, but I don't remember much else.  It's probably a better Batman film, but I just don't remember enough of it to vote.

Voting has ended!  Batman Returns and Blade advance to the next round, where they will face Batman and Men In Black.
