I think this is probably something that would be part of (and require) a forum software version upgrade.

I use the regular site on my phone without issue all the time.  I don't post from it, usually, but it's not because of the UI.

If you are one of the cursed souls using a phone browser that can't switch to landscape mode, using this site would be torture.

It's non-stop zooming in and out to read and navigate.

I think that the option of a mobile TDMMC would be a positive for the site, but I probably wouldn't use it much. I like the screen to be full-sized for this type of web-reading.   For me, mobile apps are for my bank stuff.., email, a few social media apps (gotta have those cute howlin' husky puppy IG videos), and a couple of time-waster games (RISK, backgammon and chess are my currents).

Basically, it comes down to this... If Dave, Fausto and the other powers-that-be decide that the upgrade to a mobile app is time-viable and member-welcome, then go for it. Any time you make something better, it's...well, better.

But again, for me, TDMMC is already just my size.

Text-resizing is the easy solution. It's a part of pretty much every browser's accessibility features, although I couldn't get Chrome on mobile to work with this site for some reason. Since accessibility is usually a global feature, it might be worth it to use a secondary browser. I tried Opera and it worked perfectly.

Can you dynamically resize the font? Are you doing it in the accessibilities settings? (If so, well, it doesn't work for me.)

What do you mean by dynamically resize the font? I'm almost a technical moron.

Wink

You said "Chrome works fine for me". I'm just trying to understand what you are doing. When I use Chrome on mobile with tdmmc, the text size is ridiculously small. Landscaping the phone helps, but it's still not great and I hate typing in landscape.

To get the text size up to a level that I can read without resorting to an electron microscope, the usual approach would be to increase the text size in the accessibility settings. Apple has historically been absolutely trash in this department and I avoid their stuff like the plague (other than the kids having iPhones and the wife using a Mac). I can't be bothered to grab one of the kids' phones, so I don't know if the only way to scale the text on an iDevice is still to scale all text, everywhere in the global device settings.

Anyway, for some reason, changing text size in Chrome on Android in the accessibility menu doesn't work for tdmmc. No idea why. The days of "well, this text size was defined in pixels so we won't scale it" were over more than a decade ago, so I'm assuming that's not it.

I just drag my fingers like you would zoom a photo. Really simple and going into settings isn't required. That's why I don't see any issues using a phone for the site.

Well, then you can't see a whole line of text at once and you have to scroll back and forth, which is annoying.

No I don't. Maybe your screen size or your eyes are the issue, not the site.I have no issues seeing an entire line.
