One of the first MMORPG’s, Everquest took computer savants by storm with its unmatched game depth, character development, and online play.  Over 400 zones, and anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 players at a time on a server made EverQuest an icon in gaming history.  Many patches, updates, and an EverQuest 2 in 2004 have been released.  The game is still played by millions across the globe, including Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Shilling.

The original Wolfenstein was pretty sweet, but Doom combined it with a darker atmosphere and scary monsters.  That game was awesome, and it was the first time I ever played with networked computers or over a modem.

Everquest just isn't my bag, baby.
