As long as Joe Torre continues to destroy Scott Proctor's arm (ERA over 10 since May 21), then they will never have a big divisional lead. The only reason Sturtze doesn't have an 87 ERA right now is because his arm fell off. Proctor took his place. I think they said he has thrown more pitches than anyone else in the Majors as a reliever.
Oh well, I am enjoying this right now, but Melky is in a bit of a slump and Phillips' hitting streak is over. So, there are only so many game syou can win with a bottom 4 of Cairo, Phillips, Williams & Stinnett.
