Sorry, but the Phins don't exactly have the greatest color scheme. Go with Dave's advice. Aqua and Orange trim  on white would look sweet.

Hey, think about that poor schmuck that was a die hard Tampa fan in the early 80's before you complain about team color scheme!  Imagine what that guy's garage looked like!  You'd need sunglasses on the bleakest days to keep from burning your eyes out of your head sitting in it.

hehe, given the fact that my wife is Bucs fan, I concur and will pass that comment along to her with great enthusiasm and joy.  Good job by you, Maine!    Grin

You guys are probably right.  Aqua and orange trim on white would definitely work better that "over-doing" it with the aqua and orange.  Good advice everyone!

If you do that, won't it look like the old tampa bay colors?  do you think fathead still has the bucs gay pirate?

Jeez, I hope not.  We are moving into the new house in a couple weeks and I hope to be painting the inside of the garage shortly after that.  So we'll see how it turns out.  I'll post a pic for everyone to see once it is done.

I liked Tampa Bay's old color scheme.  A semi-pro team in Olympia actually started out with TB's old uniforms.  TB's current scheme is nice also - you can NEVER go wrong with red.

The Dolphins originally had a great color scheme with aqua (light blue) and orange.  It was right up there in the top three NFL color schemes with the Falcons (red/black) and oilers (light blue and red), with the Bucs orange and red coming in 4th.

Somehow Miami's light blue migrated to dark green similar to the Hurricanes.   Cry

That's the difference between Aqua and Teal.

I did my bonus room/sports room in teal and orange.  The walls were teal and the trim orange.  It looked great.  Even people who didn't want me to paint it this way (ie. mother-in-law) thought it looked good when I was done.

Okay, after a slight delay while I was working in Colorado for a month, the Dolphins themed garage is completed.  Although the pictures don't do it justice, it actually came out looking pretty cool.  If someone would help me out by explaining how to include a picture in my post, I'll let everyone see how it came out.  I tried a couple different things to get the pics in my post, but being technologically challenged, I failed miserably.

You have to host it at a site like photobucket.com, and it'll give you a direct link.  Copy the link, then when you post the picture, click on the picture icon on this site and paste the link between the two IMG brackets.
