I've gone into "San Diego Padres Offense" mode lately...I pick one player who gets a hit, and then the next four whiff. Then I get another hit, then 4-5 more whiffs.

I picked Adrian Gonzalez 3 days in a row (by default by not logging in) and he had hits three days in a row.  Anyone wanna tell me why my streak is 0?

What is this "default" you're referring to? The default setting is "no player." If you didn't specifically click on Adrian Gonzalez for each of the three days, then he wasn't active.

there's a setting where you can pick a dude to be your "incase i forget to make a pick" guy.  I picked Adrian Gonzalez

Your jump pick only works to a streak of 3,if you have a streak Larger than 3,or don't make a pick your streak ends....

From the rules...

Jumpstart Pick

At any time during the Registration Period, you may designate any player from the Active Player List to be your default player selection (the "Jumpstart Pick") for up to a three (3) game hitting streak. Your Jumpstart Pick allows you the opportunity to build a streak on Game Days you don't make a selection.

Once your streak is at three games (3) or more, the player you designate as your Jumpstart Pick will no longer be counted towards your streak and your streak will reset to zero unless you select player(s) that get at least one (1) hit in each subsequent Game Day(s). Your Jumpstart Pick will not be counted as your player selection on any Game Day(s) you select a player (for example, if you designate Albert Pujols as your Jumpstart Pick but manually select Jose Reyes to hit on a particular Game Day, Reyes will be counted as your selection for purposes of the Contest). You may change your Jumpstart Pick designation at any time during the Contest Period.

Important Note: You must select a player each Game Day; if you fail to make a pick for any Game Day(s) on which your Jumpstart Pick's MLB Club is not scheduled to play, your streak will reset to zero unless you pick another player who gets a hit on any such Game Day, so be alert!

I find it funny that it says I did not make a selection on Thursday when I know for a fact that I did. It did not hurt me becuase I was already at 0 but if I had built up a decent streak and it did that I would be livid. Either way I am currently sitting on a 3 gamer in BTS and 5 on ESPN SFTC!!!!!

So I should have a 3 game streak today, when I went to make my pick.  Did the Sox have a doubleheader yesterday?

Edit - nevermind I see what happened.  I had a 3 game streak and missed the pick for the 4th day.  So I went back to 0.

Well, my mobile nakedness abounds, as I have streaks going in both games. Ryan Braun will try to get my MLB streak up to 5, while the Russian hoops team needs a 15+ point win to get my ESPN streak up to 9. I sure would love to get the blue star there this evening...I've only had one blue star ever in this game.

2 consecutive 0'fers in BTS and I lost my ESPN Streak @ 7 or 8 last night......back to 0's for both!!!!!

Yeah I'm doing my end of the month swoon in Streak for the cash....I got my Beat the streak out of the way early today with Alex Gordon...I'm picking them a few days in advance,and check to make sure they don't get injured/benched....Then taking a page out of AZ's playbook,and Don't change the F'er!

I'm going to go through some hardcore with drawls at the end of baseball season,from my Crack habit of Streak games all summer....Is there something like "Beat the streak for Football"...So I can come down somewhat gradually?
