i was looking over some things and realized dolphins are 0-3 against the Texans, why is that? I want to say that the team will beat the texans next week, but since it has never happened, why should i think otherwise.

Because we've been a crap team for as long as the Texans have existed?

OK, maybe not exactly CRAP - I remember the 21-20 loss in the 2003 opener all too well, but aside from that one good year (10-6, missed the playoffs), we've had a 6-win, a 4-win and a 1-win season. The last one was the mediocre 2004 season (9-7), where we didn't meet the Texans.

So, yeah, "cause we suck" is the answer.

There were a few years there that the Chiefs also gave us a lot of problems.  It was because they ran an offense that our cover two just didn't match up against.

Maybe there was a similar problem with the Texans.  I think I went to 2 of those games in Houston.  Unfortunate.

The Week 1 2003 game was an abortion.  Penalties, bad calls by the refs (a 48 yard run by Ricky Williams was erroneously called back), Fiedler choking, you name it.  It all went wrong.

The 2006 game was a heartbreaker.  We called a stupid play for the 2 point conversion and failed.

The 2007 game was also a disaster, and Tommy calls it the game after which he started calling for Cam's walking papers

Mizzou had not beaten Nebraska at Nebraska for 30 years, until last Saturday.  52-17  We used to suck but now we are good.  History did not help the Cornhuskers.

Good points, Dolphins4life, but let me help you out a little there:

The Week 1 2003 game was an abortion.  Penalties, bad calls by the refs (a 48 yard run by Ricky Williams was erroneously called back), Fiedler choking, you name it.  It all went wrong.

The 2003 game was a perfect example of why Wanny should've been fired at the end of the 2002 season.  The team was flat, undisciplined, and unmotivated.  As a matter of fact, I believe it was Jay Williams or Larry Chester that told the Houston players during the warm ups "See you after practice".  I must note that the 2003 Dolphins ended up going 10-6 and missing the playoffs that year. Their season was basically ruined by losing to a fucking expansion team.

The 2006 game was a heartbreaker.  We called a stupid play for the 2 point conversion and failed.

The 2006 game was an example of offensive ineptitude on the part of Mike Mularkey and the offense in general.  Chris Chambers drops a perfectly catchable bomb, and Daunte Culpepper had choked the life out of the offense with his bum knee (he should've never been playing).  Granted, the 2 point converstion was needed to tie the game and it was a dumb play call, but it should've never come to that.

The 2007 game was also a disaster, and Tommy calls it the game after which he started calling for Cam's walking papers

The 2007 game was where Trent Green went down with another shot to the head.  Additionally, the game was tied, but the Dolphins had just gotten a first down on the Houston 39 with the clock winding down to the 2 minute warning.  Any halfway decent coach would've let the clock go down to 2 minutes, then given Ronnie the ball three times, considering he was having a stellar game.  If he didn't get a first down (which he probably would've), you would be a little bit closer to kick the field goal.  Houston would've burned all their timeouts in the process.   Instead, Cam ran another play before the 2 minute warning.  Then he threw 2 passes, both of which were incomplete that took only 5 seconds off the clock.  Then he punted.  Houston got the ball back with 1:50 left and all their timeouts and marched down the field to kick the winning field goal.  Cam singlehandedly blew that game at the end, and it sealed my opinion of him.  I'm glad that piss poor excuse for an NFL head coach is gone.

Bottom line is, we've lost three games to an expansion team that we could have and should have easily won.

Houston's defense is ranked 26th against the run.  I like our odds this year.

Anyway, I agree. But, I want Ricky to get a touchdown or two.

Bad coacking in 2003, bad coaching in 2006, and bad coaching in 2007.  So . . . bad coacking?  I blame Huizinga.

Hard to argue with this.  I remember thinking we're not making the playoffs after losing the 2003 opener...losing the first home opener in forever bit us in the ass.
