Why do you care what they put on Twitter?  It has become a real media portal, direct from people.  No media spin, no agenda.  Just people.  I don't understand why the objection...
Twitter? No agenda? You're joking right?

How is saying it on twitter any different from telling it to a reporter? You think reporters misquote players? Sure the reporter can give you their spin on whatever was said, but I think most people know better than listen to reporters, they come to their own conclusions about what players say. Super Bowl predictions are stupid, no 2 ways about it. Hell we don't even know for sure there will be a 2011 Superbowl let alone who will be in it. It was stupid when Rex Ryan said it and it's stupid when Brandon Marshall says it.

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

OK, got it, so you have issue with the content, not the media.  Sounded before like you hate that it was on Twitter, rather than reported on ESPN.

Reporters can give you selective comments (note, not mis-quotes) and spin stuff.  Twitter gives you comments straight from the celebrity themselves.  No media filter.  Twitter is not the bad guy.

And I have no problem with willy-nilly predictions like this.  No one takes them seriously, but its nice to see a guy on the inside have some confidence in his team.  As opposed to a guy like Dicky Williams going on the radio saying how horrible the team is and how much he hates the coaches, etc.

Personally, I prefer the former.

Talks cheap, especially in the off season when few,if anyone is paying attention...Prove it to me on the field....If you're so confident on how good, great you are, don't tell me that you're great...How about not dropping any passes, make a few more people miss...

^^ Agreed!  Talk all you want but back it up on the field.
