Seriously, well done.

We've taken a load of crap, things have looked awful, and we all thought we were in for embarrassment.  And it's only one game; maybe we will be embarrassed to come.  Granted, it was only the lowly Raiders, but the fact that we not only won, but played well in doing so, and gave fans a football environment to enjoy speaks volumes.  We also seemed to have learned from mistakes.  No batted balls, fierce special teams.  ...opening the game with intensity, not settling for field goals.

This organization might not have figured everything out, but for one day, I was proud of this team, when I went to the stadium looking for reasons to get pissed off.

Even Ross -- no orange carpet, the club is way toned down, the old song is back, we played at 1 PM.  ...all the things the old-school fans wanted, they got.

Agreed. Its only one game. But for once they showed what they are capable of. One step, one day at a time.

It's amazing what happens when you don't turn the ball over

I can't remember who the last team we put away. Any victory we've had in recent years has pretty much gone to the wire.

I looked and saw that too. Sure seems a whole lot longer to me.

Probably because those wins were pointless considering they came after the 0-7 start

Still.... no one wants to lose to a team that is 0-7 and there were some games that a competent  more experienced HC would have won. No doubt, the lockout hurt us more than other teams not going through so many changes.

For me, yesterday was an excellent win, and remember, there are no patsys in the NFL, including us. I particularly liked how the team got stronger and better as the game wore on. How many times have they lost a lead and died? DON'T ANSWER! Was it the weather? Possibly! Was it the coaches? Most likely! Was it a team effort? Most definitely!!!

On the flip side, the past 2 games have showed ugly flaws. I think given time the WR corp will improve beyond most peoples expectations, but the future looks dim for the secondary without serious intervention.

Finally, the D line has been a disappointing foe me. Yes, they stopped the run...always have, but it is a passing league. They need a serious, consistent pass rush. I fully expected the D line to be the strength of the team and hide shortcomings in the secondary. Still waiting for that, although we did see a small glimpse in the 4th 1/4 of the Rads game.

Red Zone offense. TD's over Field Goals.

Oh, and a local Miami radio station is making fists on a stick for this weeks game and passing them out in honor of Sparano. So, all the fans can "fist pump" with Tony when the Jets kick field goals!

I don't know why but i find that kinda funny!

The level of hilarity will be directly proportional to the score on the scoreboard.
