i think the philosophy is that with Chubb, Phillips and Robinson, Qbs won't have time to throw, so the DBs can be super aggressive and don't have to stay with WRs for long

How far down the well did you go down the well to come up with this residue of a story?

What exactly has come up in this blog with any FILM to counter anything I that said earlier? That's because that was literally footage of his on field time you can look up and view, his whole College highlights package... and in contrast there's absolutely zero film here.

Is it impressing EVERYONE. Is it impressing ANYONE? Has he won an orange jersey yet?
Well he's probably going to start as the nickel. Not sure why you were so down on this guy thinking he wouldn't even make the team. He was never going to be a guy with a lot of picks, that's not his game, but can he defend at the line of scrimmage, help with the run game and perhaps blitz a bit? So far it looks like he can do that stuff.

Jason Marshall has gone from marginal back-up to starting nickel in the last 10 days. He typically plays outside slot but has adjusted well to being on the inside. Being a 4 year starter in the SEC looks pretty good on any resume

Inside nickel covering the slot should suit his skill-set a lot better, and while it's horrible that Kohou is out for the season, it's opened this opportunity up and he's making the most of it.

Hopefully he continues this trajectory and proves my early predictions wrong. If he does well enough, Kohou could find himself playing outside a lot more when he does return.

Well I just looked at the ESPN Depth chart for the Dolphins and they list the defense as base 4-3 with Chop and Chubb as defensive ends and Sieler and Benito Jones as tackles. Grant and Phillips backing up Sieler and Jones.

Dolphins depth chart

Personally, I'm a fan.

Is a 4-3 or 3-4 base really a thing anymore?

I think it's at the stage now (especially with players being hybrid position players) that a base defense is more of a front 7-5 rush and a back 4-6 cover.
