Shame of the Game - Saints

The coaching staff.   Like Tepop said, Why would Miami throw the ball 37 times and run it 30 times in a game where the Phins should have been playing ball control to keep the Saints offense off the field?  Miami has the most physical running game in the NFL and the coaches decided to get into a shootout with the league's most explosive offense in the NFL.  Also, the timeout Sparano took before half was unexcusable.

Here's one:  Whomever was tasked with blocking Jon Vilma should get some consideration.  Dude blew up every running play in the third and fourth quarter, it seemed.  His name came up constantly.

I am changing my SOTG to henning.  guy is a fucking moron.  Unbelievable.  up 24-10 at the half and we manage 8 rushes and 28 passes in the second half.  What the fuck is he looking at.

Channing Crowder for getting trucked by Mike Bell at least twice and standing there with his thumb up his ass when Brees QB sneaked it for the second time.  I'd like to say coaching for the first Brees sneak, but it doesn't matter when we eventually lose by 12 other than momentum.   

Why do I not see Gibril Wilson's name in this thread?  This guy is a moron.  Way to play slap-happy with Jeremy Shockey while he runs for 20 more yards, asshole.

I blame Vontae O. Davis, super genius, for jumping at Shockey's shoulders and whiffing for this play.  I'd be on Wilson's case more often if he wasn't making nearly 10 tackles a game.  Somebody else (see LBs) need to step up.
