Jets have been very good in recent years in the FA market, this year they are making some odd moves.

They go all in for Nnamdi, don't get him. They really didn't need him lets be honest.

They let Braylon and Brad Smith walk and sign Plax. Braylon isn't all that, but I would rather have him (and Brad Smith) than a guy who hasn't played in 2 years and has been in jail.

They are talking with Todd Heap today. An old team getting older.

Usually every NFL year 3 or 4 teams come out of nowhere and surprise. And 1 or 2 teams everyone thinks are great end up stinking. that may be the Jets this year. Not sure what they are doing and I think they are going backwards. Not complaining, but just find it odd.

I think that's because the Jets are in that bad position of thinking they are just 1 or 2 players away from being Super Bowl contenders and they might be, but the danger in signing a couple of older free agent veterans to fill those 1 or 2 spots every year is that after a while you look at your team and it's nothing but aging veterans.
