Those aren't the same as the Joe Carter-era logo/uniforms?

just a little something i read, "Updating our original logo, the strong affinity to go back to 'Blue' and returning the red Maple Leaf to the primary mark recognizes the classic look of which we feel baseball logos and uniforms should consist. This new look represents what the Blue Jays mean to our players, staff and most importantly, from the sentiment expressed by our fans." - Paul Beeston, President and CEO Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club and Rogers Centre.

It's certainly not like the Marlins which had a complete makeover, it's returning to the original but tweaking it to make it more modern.

There is a version of the new one, without the baseball or lettering that I like a lot better.

Wasn't a fan of the "old/new" logo. I like the throwback.   ...and yes I'd rather have a tweak to the logo than the complete destruction and current monstrosity that is the Marlins'.

Well, look at it this way: in 10 years, the Marlins can go back to their "classic" look and you can all buy new gear and rejoice.

They aren't the same as the old uniforms.  Close, though.  Bird is different.  The shade of blue is darker.  The hat was almost powder blue, now it's a very striking ocean blue.

FYI:  I love it.  I hated the "new look."  I wish they would go back, all the way back, to the original.  It was awesome.

This should be a thread that is updated every year because the Jays have gone through uniform changes for the past decade. Even Oregon sticks with their uniforms longer.
