THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: September 08, 2013, 04:25:57 pm »

Both the Patriots and Jets win on last second field goals.  The Jets win was ridiculous.

That TB idiot let them get into FG range and costing them the game. Just atrocious.

It was a bad call as he wasn't out of bounds yet, but in Goodell's NFL, the QB mustn't be touched under any circumstances. He should've known better, he was going out, no need. Would've been a 62 yard attempt.

The Jets still suck. BUT I don't want them to get the 1st or 2nd pick of the draft and Clowney or Bridgewater (especially Bridgewater). It's ok they won a game vs an NFC team. I want them to win a few this season. No big deal....the Jets are still only a 2-4 win team this year

Bucs linebacker Lavonte David made the costly play.  Stupid stupid stupid.  Like Sunstroke says sometimes, it wouldn't surprise me if the Bucs give him his walking papers.

I have no idea about the plkayer and if he is good or not, but if he is a fringe player, I wouldn't be surprised if Schiano cuts him lose. Schiano fancies himself a tough guy and has a "never give up" attitude, remember the Giants kneel down fiasco from last season? So, I can see him cutting this guy to make an example out of him.

Never give up but you can't make stupid mistakes like that with the game on the line.

Lavante David isn't going anywhere. A lot of people are comparing him to Derrick Brooks because of his size and ability to play side line to side line.

He was at least  5 yards out of bounds.  The call was right.  The defender was a moron.

He wasn't that far out of bounds, but he was out of bounds. The call was right and the defender is a moron.

That was pretty hilarious, wasn't it?  I wonder what psychotic lard-ass I borrowed that phrase from?
