It's the same with a lot of different issues, people hear a very little about an issue and then shout from the rooftops how things are, and who is it fault.  When in reality there are years and decades of information that should be considered. Nothing is black and white.

Right there with you. I honestly had always thought the Jewish hate was overblown as I had never seen it. Yes, I know Jewish people. The movie Porky's was my first experience with someone being called a kike. I still don't know that I've ever seen any legit hate outside of tv. I'm guessing it's pretty much a big city thing. I would argue that most of the kids protesting against Israel are easily influenced college kids who have no idea what is going on over there. Going back to the 60s college aged kids have always "protested" regardless of where they would eventually fall.

My heart goes out to you for this loss - it hurts, it's not easy, but please be strong. The pain does lessen, a little bit, day by day.
