We started out hot against the a's 6-0 after one then the flood gates flew open and soon enough we found ourselves down 7-6 only to come from behind to win 9-7. Thats not the bad part. Gustavo Chacin the machine suffered a minor glitch in the arm. something about a tightness.

This rotation we got here is best the bigs  Roll Eyes. were dropping like flies.

Josh towers is offical on life support on his jays career. 1 more start can detemine whether we will part with the guy that is responable for half of our losses.

But there is some good news. I just saved a load of money on my car insurance by switching to geico.

Sure it could....It Could be alot worse...they could be the Roylas..or even worse yet...the CUBS!

Toronto is gonna be fine...Halladay, Chacin, Lilly...they have some good starters there. Ryan is a dominant closer...and their offense is sick.  It would take, imo, a complete implosion for Toronto to not be in contention for the AL East in September.

Lilly just said he would like to sign with the Giants when he becomes a free agent after this season. So yeah, things just got worse because now his trade value just took a nosedive.

how does that mean his trade value take a nosedive. he just said he would like to sign with the giants.

lilly has done great this year. the sad part of it is, it's his contract year and we all know players seem to have career type years on contract years.

I did hear from somebody on fan590 that they were saying about how lilly said he wouldn't re sign, but then someone else said he never said that, or something to that. Maine, whats the 4-1-1 on lilly stance. BTW how can people like me write letters to players, fan letters i suppose they are called.

Why would a team like the Cardinals or Phillies trade for him now knowing he is just a 2 month lease? They will have to give up some prospects and get nothing but 2 months in return.
