Did anyone watch this?

He was pretty good.  And he dressed decidedly less gay than his competition.

"Less gay?"

Do I sense a touch of homophobia?

"Less gay?"

Do I sense a touch of homophobia?

Especially coming from a proclaimed Metrosexual.

No, it's not homophobic.  I'm not afraid of what they wear, but having seen the show, I can tell you that sequined vests, without sleeves are not uncommon.  Taylor wore a regular man's dress shirt.

As much as I like JT, I just can't force myself to watch Dancing With The Stars.  No matter who is on it.

You know the Dolphins are in trouble when Jason Taylors' dancing has eclipse the news of any free agents that they have signed. Many people can't even tell you the name of the newest Dolphins head coach.

In retrospect, Taylor being on "Dancing With The Stars" could turn out to be a blessing in disguise for the whole Dolphins organization. We've taken a battering as far as public relations with management and inept coaches at the helm.

Look at the publicity he's getting:

1 year removed from being the NFL Defensive Player of the Year
He won the Walter Payton "Man of The Year Award"
Does a lot of charitable things around South Florida

If Taylor stays with Miami, they would be wise to put him on all the tickets because he's about the only recognizable long term Dolphin we have right now. The only way that Parcells can embarass Taylor is to call him "twinkle toes" or "Lippy the Lion".

This is a guy that they choose to make a gigantic robot of in London last year. Think about it. Mike Strahan is a sure fire Hall of Famer who is just as charming, straightforward and funny and they pick Jason Taylor. He's already got a worldwide fan base.

Taylor isn't the first Dolphin to go Hollywood. After Larry Csonka crushed the Vikings in Super Bowl 8 like a wrecking ball, he was in demand everywhere, including the season after they won the Super Bowl. He co-starred in a Six Million Dollar Man episode (in which he acted pretty good).

When Csonka, Kiick and Warfield jumped to the WFL in 75, the main cog was Csonka. Csonka had such an appeal that they built the whole league around him. Csonka was a "hot property" on and off the field.

This led to the original "American Gladiators" gig after his retirement. Zonk and Mike Adamele were really great at calling the action with Csonka being a smart a** with the contestants.

So Taylor isn't the first Dolphin to have Hollywood aspirations at all.

If he ever dances shirtless, I'll catch it on YouTube.  Otherwise, I'm out.

Haha well it doesn't matter what he's doing I am always there. But he really did do good- I was hoping I wasn't going to have to be embarassed for him! He was prob. the second best guy- only Mario was better
