Less than a month into NFL employment, 23-year-old Kory Robertson apparently has decided pro football isn't for him.

The defensive tackle has told the team he is retiring.

I think we've had this discussion before (in relation to Eric Crouch)- its not retiring if you haven't played an NFL game, its quitting.

He lasted longer than BB did as head coach of the Jets......

Apparently Jason Taylor is turning out to be quite the mentor.  He has already inspired one rookie to follow his footsteps out of the NFL.

Agreed..... but he didn't really have much of a college career..... which is probably why he didn't get drafted.

Now Michael Munoz (son of HOF Anthony Munoz) is a sad story.  All American O-Lineman at Tennessee and he didn't get drafted.  He decided to quit football right then.

He's obviously impressionable. Imagine if he was drafted by the Pats? He be retiring to open a new Store:    http://www.thespystore.com/

Exactly how does one retire from something they never did?

I think I will retire from football also.  Smiley

I think our Eric Crouch argument was prior to you joining our board, and several of us announced our intent to also retire from the NFL.

I would also like to announce my retirement from the following:

fire eating
walking on hot coals
kissing cobras
wrestling bears
catching alligators

I'm not sorry for the derail, either!  Smiley

All this in one shot, what a quitter.
