I haven't got one prediction right yet.  I'm 0-3 on the season.

I picked the Chargers to win.

I see where you are going with this Brian, you are in the same boat with Frimp.
We will not know for sure who will win until Denver predicts the game.
Denver has the worst prediction record known to mankind, so whoever he picks to win the other team will win.

Did I mention one of the greatest RB's to strap on the cleats

What is so great about tomlinson.  Seriously.  I know he had all those touchdowns that one year.  Which only means that he got a lot of red zone carries.  His ypc that year was great at 5.2, except michael turner was at 6.3. His career ypc is 4.5 which is good, but far from the best.  This year he is at a poor 3.8 ypc, Sproles should be the one starting.

Surely you jest.  Sproles had one carry that went for 83 yards, that's why his average is inflated.  Most players would kill to have a 4.5 ypc average for a career.  Who's better?

Bo Jackson - 5.4
Jim Brown - 5.2
Mercury Morris - 5.1
Gale Sayers - 5.0
Barry Sander - 5.0
Napolean Kaufman - 4.9
Frank Gore - 4.9
Tony Nathan - 4.8
Robert Smith - 4.8
Tatum Bell - 4.8
Tiki Barber - 4.7
Brian Westbrook - 4.7
OJ Simpson - 4.7
Fred Taylor - 4.7
Charlie Garner - 4.6
Terrell Davis - 4.6
Priest Holmes - 4.6
Larry Johnson - 4.6
Marion Barber - 4.5
Ahman Green - 4.5
LaDainian Tomnlinson - 4.5
Ronnie Brown - 4.5
Rod Bernstein - 4.5
Freeman McNeil - 4.5

However, he's #17 in Career Rushing yards all time (only Edgerrin James has more among active players) and #3 all time in rushing TD's (behind Marcus Allen and Emmitt Smith, he'll pass Marcus Allen in a couple of weeks).

Sure look at YPC but don't look at any other stats and you can easily be mislead.

Look back to Turner during his time in SD.  Yes, 4.5 is a great ypc for a career.  But not the "greatest rb to ever cleat up".   Also, what is the rule for taking away a rbs good carries to get a real ypc.

When you have 10 carries and one went for 83 yards, even if the rest went for 0, you'll have a 8.3 ypc average.  Not rocket science - I'm just saying its not "real".

LT has rushed for 10,946 yards in under eight seasons at 4.5 yards a freakin' clip.  He's scored 119 TD's in that time.  He's also hauled in 468 passes for 3,433 yards out of the backfield, average of 7.3 a catch, for an additional 14 scores.

What part of those numbers would indicate that this kid is one of the best at his position than we've seen in a long time?

I'm really struggling with a prediction this week.  We have played three games and three different Miami Dolphins have shown up.

Who will show up against San Diego?  Will it be the conservative, anemic offense of week 1?  Maybe the non existent pass defense of week 2? or will we be seeing the juggernaut kick ass Dolphins that played the Pats?

I think San Diego is the best team we have played to date, better than their 2 - 2 record.   San Diego hasn't played more than a half of any game, and still has scored plenty of points.  I just don't see Miami's offense keeping up with them for 4 quarters.

Phillip Rivers pokes holes in the untrustworthy Dolphins secondary, while Ronnie Brown returns to early 2007 form.  Ricky Williams goes down with an injury that will leave him day-to-day for the next few weeks, and Chad Pennington suffers a devestating concussion. Chad Henne throws his first meaningful touchdown in the early 4th quarter to give the Phins the 24-21 lead, but the Chargers kick two field goals and hold the Phins off at the last second to claim the victory.

I can see the Dolphins scoring big on this Charger defense.... but not as much as the Chargers scoring on this Dolphins defense with all the weapons they have.....

San Diego 42
