I watched the Chargers-Raiders game and I came away NOT being impressed with the Bolts.

Vincent Jackson and Chris Chambers are decent receivers but not playmakers. Jackson still has the drops and even though Chambers has 4 TD's, he disappears during games just like he did here in Miami. Antonio Gates is still dangerous but it looks like he's slower and probably not healed from that toe injury of last year.

The center Nick Hardwick isn't even healthy. He got ran over for two sacks and with Hardwick, that's unheard of. The defense is shaky. Jamal Williams, the NT has bad knees and when you lose an All-Pro like Merriman, it's gonna hurt you.

In this game, I'll roll the dice and let Chambers and Jackson beat me and bottle up Sproles on Special Teams and Tomlinson.

The Raiders were having success throwing to the tight end. That's Miami's strength on offense as far as the passing game. Fasano and Martin can have success if their in the game plan.

Miami can beat San Diego IF they contain Sproles on screens and returns. Sproles is the key NOT Tomlinson.

Umm he's a pats fan....He's an optimist that we'll lose....

***Interesting the people that are bashing the Chargers as not that great of a team....L.T. has been playing with Turf toe so far this year, and is just getting healthy....I think the one advantage is the west coast team playing on the east coast....****

What's the problem with calling the Dolphins "fish"?

It's a joke. It's funny. That a few people here and there don't know that dolphins are mammals, well, that's what MAKES it funny. If you're insulted by make fun of other peoples' ignorance, well Wink

Even if it weren't funny, I still wouldn't have a problem with it. It's a nickname. Dolphins live in the water. Fish live in the water. It's like calling the Broncos "the Donkeys", but without any of the negative connotation. Same with "the Seagulls".

Dude it's way old and out dated. Can't the Patriot fans find something new?

Yeah it is old.  I had a t-shirt that said "Squish the Fish" when I was younger.  The nickname of fish for Miami has stuck with me since.  IIRC it had a picture of Eason stomping  an upside down dolphin.

I have to admit a picture of Eason stomping an upside down dolphin is funny, inaccurate but funny.
