Recently Bosoxgrl and fau posted pictures of their new puppy. Do you have a dog or cat? Let's brag about them.

Last March we went to the Animal Welfare Society and picked up a pure bread miniature poodle. She was seized from a puppy mill inside the state. She is a special needs dog as she has epilepsy and will be on medication the rest of her life. It is no fun when she has seizures like she did at 2:20 am this morning. I brought her to obedience class, and used allot of the advice I saw on the Dog Whisperer(The stuff works). She was not trained at all at 4 years old, but with those tools I mentioned she is well balanced now. I used many voice commands by also using hand signals as not to confuse the dog.
We really love her allot especially my wife, we can't imagine not having her as part of the family.
I can't wait to her about everybody's pet, the only one that scares me is Tommy.

I have 3 cats (Reina 16, Taz  13, and Zach Thomas 9)  They were all rescues.  We bottled raised Zach as an orphan.  Our dog is named Rosko and he is 6-7 years old, another rescue.  He has some border collie and corgi traits but beyone that it's anyone's guess what breed(s) he is.  Our ferret is Rocky.  He lost his cage mate last December (that was Ripley).  He is 5-6 and we adopted him from a local ferret rescue organization.  Sense a theme here?

At the moment, we also have 3 little foster kittens.  There were five, but we have found homes for 2 of them.

Anybody want a kitten?  Cheesy

I have a little Italian Greyhound named Giovanni. He weighs about 12 lbs and is 9 years old. He flunked out of puppy preschool and is an all around thug. He runs around the neighborhood like he owns it. I suppose he has a big head since he once got in a fight with a Great Dane and survived. He has the scars from the stitches to prove it.

This is our Min Pin "Reno" and he weighs about 7lbs.  His name is short for Marino.

It's good we named him after a Dolphin since he loves the water so much.  He runs into the lake and swims and even jumps off the dock. If my wife has her way we'll have a "Shula" soon.

I got Marley two years ago at the pound.  He's 2 1/2 yrs old.  He was two days away from being put to sleep....he's my boy.  He's a mutt, but I think he has greyhound, pit, great dane and maybe a little chow.

I got Leela last year around this time.  She is 1 1/2 yrs old.  My girlfriend was a vet tech at the time and the relief vet that did her spay botched her surgery...she was bleeding all over the place.  I went with her to the clinic later that day to check on her and fell in love...then my girlfriend told me how she had gone from owner to owner...I think I was the 5th or 6th person to take her.  She can be a handful sometimes, but she loves the hell out of me and she's a good guard dog.  She's a greater swiss mountain dog.

I have a mutt adopted from the Humane Society as well. Her name is Marley and she is 4 years old. I've been told she is a boxer/greyhound mix, she's about 55 lbs. and is brindle. I'm away at school now and she is home with my parents. I miss her A LOT, but she is spoiled and happy with my folks, so I am thankful.

Definitely Bob! And before I read the book "Marley and Me!"

I have had 2 patients named Marley.  One had a dog brother named Dickens and the other had a dog brother named Kingston.  Both cute ideas, IMO.
