Great pitching matchup....let down the Rays didn't win, but credit to the Phillies for an awesome pitching performance...hopefully the Rays can win the next one

These two teams are very evenly matched. I think this favors the Rays because it's very hard to go on the road for Games 6 and 7 in the World Series and win. Especially Game 7, very rare when that happens. I think it only happened like 5 times in history, but I could be misreading that stat.

Also credit the ump for not calling what was an obvious balk in the seventh inning.

I was going to mention that, but I didn't want to seem bitter

You're just bitter.

Did you think that was a balk?

Shuddup.  You're just bitter as well.

You're all bitter.

Yes, I thought it was a balk.  But I also think that those calls are amazingly more subjective than a lot of people might realize.

I also wasn't going to mention it because I don't think it would have changed the outcome...Phillie had a slightly better pitching performance and deserved to win that game.

Phillies up 2-1 after the win tonight... Old Man Moyer looked like Kid Dynamite, and Utley & Howard's dingers make me really want to see my postseason game boxscore tomorrow.

Cole Hamels up in game 4? ...could the Rays be in trouble here?

I could be wrong, but I think Blanton is pitching game 4 tonight.

I understand that Phiily is pretty good and all but I see Tampa doing a Boston type thing. They are so young that there is a point where they will drop all of the World Series pressure from their shoulders and play lights out. Even if down 3-1.
