  We just passed Week 8, so I figured it was time to hand out some midseason awards.  Here are the catagories:

1. Midseason MVP - I gotta say Chad Pennington.  We wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now if Josh McCown was our starting QB

2. Midseason Offensive Player of the Year - Chad Pennington

3. Midseason Defensive Player of the Year - Joey Porter

4. Midseason Comeback Player of the Year - Yeremiah Bell

5. Midseason Rookie of the Year - Jake Long

1. Midseason MVP - Gotta give it to Chad Pennington.  Not only for his outstanding QB play, but for his leadership and poise. 

2. Midseason Offensive Player of the Year - Chad Pennington.  See above.

3. Midseason Defensive Player of the Year - Joey Porter.  He's a beast out there.  Made me forget all about #99.

4. Midseason Comeback Player of the Year - Ronnie Brown.  Has shown no ill effects from that devistating knee injury, and has worked wonders both in the base offense and the Wildcat formation. 

5. Midseason Rookie of the Year - Jake Long.  He's gonna be our stud left tackle for the next decade.
