   This is the first time since the end of '05 the Fins have been above .500. They were 8-7 after beating Tennessee 24-10 and closed it out with a garbage win, 28-26 over New England.

   Don't make us wait three more years to get here again. I said when the season started I'd be happy with 5 wins and ecstatic with 8. I MAY end up more than ecstatic.

   It was a nail biter, but this is an inexperienced team learning how to win. Tuna has put his stamp on this team, especially with the ball control drive that was sealed with Ronnie's TD.

   GO FINS!

You're right Tenshot, it sure doesn't.   Three years to sport a winning record is a long time.

I'll bet Sciotto, with his savant like Rainman abilities, can reel off the score of every Miami vs Seattle game in history from memory.

And it's great to be above .500, but let's not get carried away. The Dolphins barely beat a bad Seattle team with a gimpy QB and butter fingered receivers at home. It's a win, granted, and I'm happy to have it, but they didn't look like a playoff caliber team today. The Dolphins are way ahead of where I'd thought they'd be, but 10 wins seems like a stretch.

You're right that we barely beat a horrible Seattle team...but look at our division...We have the ability to beat all of them, plus our remaining schedule is favorable for us.

I had to cross my fingers on the seattle  win. I was sure Miami was going to beat the bricks off them(seahawks) but it goes to show you , know matter how bad a team is, that every given sunday you have to come out and play ball.   The next couple of games look cake but it is not for sure the Fins will go on a tear .

Lets see- 5-4

Projected W-L

Oakland  -  W -  Oakland looks like shit
NE           - L -  Counting on the Pats to not be suprised by the Wildcat again
@STL       - W-  see my oakland comment
@BUF   - L-  Buffalo will bring it
SF      -W-  this game my go either way,  but im taking the Fins
@KC      -W-  once again see my oakland comment
@NYJ        -W-  Hopefully the  Fins will put Brett on his ass this time.

10- 6  better that the 6-10  i projected at the beginning of the season.

Granted, it was an ugly win.  We let a crappy team back in the game with that pick 6, and let them hang around the entire time afterwards.

But, this also shows how far this team has come.  Last years Cam Camoron led team would've found a way to lose this game, prompting Camoron to come up with another excuse.

Crappy win but it shows that this team is finding ways to win. Last year this would have been in the lose column.

Never judge a team by its record. If not for those receivers dropping those balls on Seattle........this could have been a different scenario. I'll take it though!

Go Miami!!  Grin

The last time we had a winning record 9 games into the season was 2003.   I figured anywhere between 6-8 wins for the team this year but it looks like we may eclipse that before the middle of December.

If the Dolphins want to get into the playoffs they need at least 6 more wins in 7 games.  Baltimore owns the tiebreaker over us and I'm sure the way their defense is playing they'll get to 11-5 which would make us the 6 seed assuming we can't win the division of course.
