The Philadelphia Eagles and the Cincinatti Bengals have ended in a tie after Shayne Graham missed a 47 yarder.

Crazy.  They showed the game but then had to change it due to NFL rules.

One of the ESPN commentators with Chris Berman said "And, 4 hours of my life that I will NEVER get back!"

Most have been a boring game, and judging by the 13-13 score, it sounds like it.

Well I had the right week but the wrong game.  I was hoping for a tie in the New England/Jets game.

The NFL should really switch to the NCAA overtime format.

Why not??   I like the NCAA OT format as well.  Each team gets a chance to win.

Less of a chance for Ronnie Brown to kick ass.

I know, I think that would be a good rule to adopt in the NFL.

Yes, but it needs to be adopted all the way..... once you get to the third OT, you cannot kick the extra point after a touchdown, you must go for two.

The best ot proposal I have heard is no field goals.  You must score a TD to win.  still sudden death so if the team that wins the coin toss get it in on first possession game is over.

It isn't football.  It is like little kiddies football where each team just runs 10 plays on offense.  Field position means nothing.  Interceptions mean nothing, no punting etc.

Also each team in NFL overtime has a chance to win.
