I got some music stuck in my head, from listening to the t.v. in the back ground....

The Damn J.C. Penny's commercial....(I usually really don't like the type of music) but I was curious to here the whole song,so while waiting for something to render ,I searched around the internet to find out what is the name of the song, then I went to amazon and bought both the downloads....

The first one that got stuck in my head...JC penny's was Sleepy rebels - unbeliveable, the other one I found a clip of it,ont he site I was lookiing at and downloaded it too....Amos Lee - Sweet Pea

There have been a bunch of songs already in my music collection that have been made into commercials, but this has to bea first for me,downloading music I've heard in a  commercial....

So any commercials that the Song has caught you attention, did you go find it?

The latest commercial song to be stuck in my head isn't a main stream song, but it's the new Mc Donald's fillet o' fish jingle.
Gimme back that fillet o' fish
Gimme that fish
What if it were you hanging up on this wall
What if it were you in that sandwhich
You wouldn't be laughing at all

I loves me some jingles... Grin

I still think the original Oscar Mayer bologna song ("my bologna has a first name...") is the best jingle from my childhood, with Band-Aid's "I am stuck on Band-Aid brand, 'cause Band-Aid's stuck on me" as a close second.

This jingle for windshield replacement is often sung as a lullaby to all of the good boys and girls around Boston, maybe even New England.

Lil B, I've had this happen to me quite often. There are two songs which I've heard in commercials which I had to google and find out the title, and then I downloaded them. They were both mellow, kind of sappy songs. One was in a Kleenex commercial, and I forget what commercial the other one was in.

I love Amos Lee and got into his music from the song Sweet Pea from the phone commercials.

Feist's 1,2,3,4

Goldfrapp, Oh lalala
are commercial songs that I've heard that I had to track down and throw on my ipod.

I also Googled Feist's 1, 2, 3, 4!  Another one that I got from an iPod commercial was Bruises by Chairlift.

I think that we had a thread on here where someone was looking for Promontory from Last of the Mohicans after they heard it on a Nike commercial.

Actual songs that I looked up because they were in a commercial:

The same 1,2,3,4 as the rest of ya,
Saliva's "Ladies and Gentlemen"
Reel Big Fish' "Oh no you didn't" from the Mercenary 2 game
Saul Williams'  "Reparations" from the Nike commercials ("I've got a list of demands...")

You must've had a hard time finding that song from Reel Big Fish, since they didn't do it!  Wink Grin

If we can include video games then I might add "Simple and Clean" from Kingdom Hearts. Grin
